Desde fevereiro de 2009 a JAZZ SINFÔNICA é administrada pela Organização Social de Cultura Associação Paulista dos Amigos da Arte – APAA.

Created twenty years ago, no adjective would really translate the musical way developed by the JAZZ SYMPHONIC up to now. It is unique according to its instrumental score: a symphonic orchestra, plus a big-band, which allows flying autonomy through unexplored musical realms. This characteristic also gives it the important role of being a new brazilian symphonic aesthetics creator, the aim followed by its artistic direction from the beginning.

Very attractive, the JAZZ SYMPHONIC is remarkable by its always renewed courage to overcome structure and musical challenges. Its composition dynamism - arrangements production and pieces adaptations specially created - form the very precious orchestra library, with about a thousand scores and parts.

Musicians and conductors - João Mauricio Galindo, Cyro Pereira and Fabio Prado - are this orchestra moving strengh that never stops filling hearts and minds with the best popular world - wide music, performing solo or with brazilian and international music stars.
